I listened to the audiobook for All the Sinners Bleed by S.A. Cosby in the heat of summer.
I was so on edge that last hour of the audio I had to get up and pace the room.
Great blend of evocative literary writing style and propulsive “oh no what’s going to happen next” pacing. The book’s subject matter is dark and grisly, but because of the deep, vibrant humanity of the protagonist and the people around him I could handle it.
Adam Lazarre-White is a great narrator and really did the book justice.
I’m definitely going to check out S.A. Cosby’s other books once I’ve had the chance to sit with this one. It’s going to stay with me for awhile, that’s for sure.
