I read Harlem Shuffle by Colson Whitehead in preparation for his book tour stop in Albuquerque.
“Summer had come to Harlem.”
Once I got used to the storytelling style I really got into it.
Purchased the book in paperback at the author event, which was fabulous, and immediately started reading it again. Even got my uncle to pick it up and he loved it, too. Thoroughly enjoyed the reread as well. Looking forward to the second book in the series.
Can’t wait for book 2!
